Our first Summer Program field trip took place on June 29th, when Tutčint youth and chaperones received a private tour of the Gene Autry Museum of the American West, in Griffith Park. Our Tour Guide for the day was Diana Terrazas (Paiute), Native Community Engagement Manager. Highlights of the event was viewing the collection, “When I Remember I See Red; American Indian Art and Activism in California,” their Ethnobotanical Garden, Art of the West, and Human Nature exhibits.
