Pukúu and the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians (Tataviam) partner with a national network of organizations to host Tribal Elder Job Placement. The National Indian Council on Aging, Inc. (NICOA) program Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) affords the both Pukuu and Tataviam to hired senior in the workforce.
Through the SCSCEP Tataviam placed three part-time seniors to maintain Rudy Ortega Sr. Park in the City of San Fernando and one part-time senior in the Tataviam Tribal Administration office. Pukuu hired three part-time senior employees who are training at Haramokngna American Indian Cultural Center and at Pukuu offices in San Fernando.
