Recently Pukúu became a grantee through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) with the stated goals to “create jobs, restore economic growth, and strengthen America’s middle class…” Through this program, that promotes transparency and accountability, Pukúu is hiring unemployed staff for our job placement program. In an effort to nurture other American Indian entities, we will lend some of our staff to help with their programs and operations.
It is through this programming that Pukúu Cultural Community Services shows their unwavering commitment to the betterment of all Native American Indian people in Los Angeles and the State of California.
