The word Tutčint (two-cheant) derives from the Serrano language and means “youth.”

Tutčint staff offers direct services and consulting to community based organizations, schools, and governmental agencies. We are also seeking quality partnerships for two-way referrals to support youth and their caretakers.

Youth-Led Summer Conference
Each summer, Tutčint hosts a conference in partnership with local youth programs throughout Los Angeles County. The goals of the conference are to empower youth leadership, public speaking, organizing, positive peer associations, identities development, and movement building activities.

Tutčint is FREE and open to all youth ages 12-17 who reside in the City of San Fernando and surrounding communities. Intake evaluations determine each participant’s eligibility and service needs. We also offer a six-month rite of passage program and certification.
